My style is not very ladylike but there’s something about the pastel palette that makes me want to be a true lady. All from the so many beautiful lemon, mint, pale pink and dusty blue hues that get my attention each time.
This mint green number is perfect in every way as it is designed to fit the stereotype that comes with pastel hues – babies, innocence, softness and beauty. The detailing on this dress couldn’t be more spot on, the pockets, buttons, and bow tie statisfy my needs on this outfit.
I combined it with blush pink ankle strap heels to extend the pastel theme and feel more ladylike. I like to wear pastel hues for the warmer months, oh and in case you missed it,2016 will officially be the hottest year on the books in more than 120 years of record keeping by U.S. agencies. I prefer to wear pastel colors together instead of fusing them with bold colors. How do you like to wear yours? Let me know in the comments section.
I love how fast time flies when it’s raining, how I am always hydrated because of the several cups of tea through out the day. I need not to mention that the light is perfect for photography. I like to wear clothes that have a flare of light on dull days, I think it is my unconscious way of showing gratitude for the rain. This turquoise coat was the perfect piece today. I must admit though, it was difficult to style because the color is quite a task to put together which I did not anticipate earlier. But then I figured to match with a similar shade of color and everything fell in place.
Block heels are a real life hack, I salute the inventor. This multi color pair is my favorite at the moment.
Ladies and gentlemen, introducing you already know who, an #AllBlackPost 😂. All black will never go out of style in Fashion (Pun intended).Moving on, I loved shirt dresses since their debut over two years back. As I grow older, the realisation that “comfy and edgy” is my style is continually emphasized. This shirt dress is one of those items. I can allow my stomach stretch over a meal and have no fear of appearing like I have a baby bump.
The masculine inspired theme is another element I am totally down for! We have seen women fashion borrow a lot from menswear in the past two years. This is a norm I feel lucky is happening at a time I am alive because it means more comfy and edgy trends.
This dress can be worn with a belt too and boots. I recommend getting a loose sized dress for this look. I hope you had a lovely day ❤
If I heard someone talk about sweaters and boots I would most likely eavesdrop because that is comfort and style talk. It is like those buy one get one promos. These two items manage to look stylish every time. If I knew earlier in life that tucking in sweaters would look this stylish I would have done it with my school uniform.
This over sized sweater is one of my comfort clothes, it can work well on my couch on a lazy Sunday, a night out with shorts and on a random evening. I like it’s rich (ruby woo) color. Army green is another rich and diverse color. It goes well with almost every color. I finished off the look with brown boots which are my favorite right now (because they look like those sock boots I am dreaming about) and a chunky blue bag.I salute the inventor of high waist jeans.
When tucking in choose an over sized sweater.
Avoid tucking in neatly.
Have a beautiful September, hope you caught a glimpse of the eclipse.
Welcome back from the weekend, I am hoping you had enough rest. So this full size dress got my attention while I was shopping downtown. There was something about the print that I could not resist. It has hung in my closet for a while waiting on motivation to make it work which I got after two months. First, I combined the dress with only a belt but something was missing. I layered a white shirt under the dress and viola everything fell in place. I had my perfect ensemble. Rich and playful just like it. 🙂 A full size dress can be styled in different ways however, with just a belt and boots for a laid back look, a hut and sandals with chunky jewelry for a weekend look. Let’s go out and catch our dreams, have a fruitful week.
I am obsessed with this top mostly because of the woven turtle neck. It’s unfortunate the camera couldn’t capture it’s real color which is purple, I thought to still share. Colors that are similar work well together, just make sure one shade is lighter than the other. Go easy on the shoes and accessories if you are wearing bright colored clothing. I’m hoping you had a beautiful day.
I am willing to bet that more too often you feel the need to dress down at work at the beginning of the week. You are not to blame, casual clothing are convenient. I mean, you don’t need to iron jeans, you can wear them more than once without a wash…I am positive these are some of the reasons why jeans are a classic in both women’s and men’s wear.
Pairing jeans with blazers to work is basic, and yet I drive energy off being different. This long black see-through top enabled me look and feel edgy, which is my zone. If you are wearing jeans to work early in the week, pair them with dull colors, like I did with black.
I hope you like it, drop by a comment, I will surely reply.
