My style is not very ladylike but there’s something about the pastel palette that makes me want to be a true lady. All from the so many beautiful lemon, mint, pale pink and dusty blue hues that get my attention each time.
This mint green number is perfect in every way as it is designed to fit the stereotype that comes with pastel hues – babies, innocence, softness and beauty. The detailing on this dress couldn’t be more spot on, the pockets, buttons, and bow tie statisfy my needs on this outfit.
I combined it with blush pink ankle strap heels to extend the pastel theme and feel more ladylike. I like to wear pastel hues for the warmer months, oh and in case you missed it,2016 will officially be the hottest year on the books in more than 120 years of record keeping by U.S. agencies. I prefer to wear pastel colors together instead of fusing them with bold colors. How do you like to wear yours? Let me know in the comments section.
Happy December, these past few days have been as happy as this outfit :). I have no one to thank but God for this.
Suspeders were first invented in 1820 by Albert Thurston. They have been in fashion for the last century, and have never gone out of style. I doubt they ever will, I mean they have survived a century! These distressed denim pants are my favourite because of the stylish elements( length, the fact they are distressed) and they fit just right.
Denim is the easiest thing to style for sure. These can go well with heels as they go with sneakers. This shade of denim looks better with colors close to white.
I had never tried a sweater on these pants, I was impressed with the look. I like payful outfits, I am slowly putting an end to purchasing heels to more playful footwear, we will see how long this lasts.
This dress is of a blanket texture, this means that I do not need to wear a coat ☺, on the downside, the sun can decide to make permanent visit. I was mumbling “sunshine not today, maybe another day, georgous Rebecca will burn, sunshine not today” And just as I remember the rhyme working for me as a child, it worked today too (well..until about 4pm) not too bad, right?
This dress follows the T.shirt trend that is still on going. I love the double pockets on both sides and the V neck. I added black socks to sheild my legs from the cold.I styled it with a belt to add to my shape and tribal printed scarf. I made sure to match the colors so the outfit is well put together. I finished the look with black ankle boots and dull cream bag.
Tip: Do away with a belt if you are apple shaped.
